This is the first illustrated scene where "Alex" the alligator goes to the apple orchard, and startles the workers picking apples.

Allison's Alligator

This is my first project for Directed Themes.

 I chose a short story I found online called, "Allison's Alligator"  by S.E Schlosser 

Just  a fun story for kids, and I chose to illustrate a front cover for this story. 

The text will go in the space where the fence is. I'm planning on hand drawing the font digitally, so I will update as soon as it's finished! There will be two more projects surrounding the theme to this story throughout the semester. Happy with the piece so far, can't wait to add text :) Thanks for peeking...

Senior Project Ideas

A small sketchbook study for my Senior Project.

It will consist of three pieces based off of Greek Deities with their associated sacred birds.

Each will have a mini-portrait with their birds, and some information about them with hand lettering.

First will be Athena with her Owl. Then Hermes with the Hawk. And also, Hera with her Peacock.

I'm so excited for these pieces!

Progress to follow for the next three months.
